i've gone to look for america.
It took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw.
trip to boston before the leap day snowstorm hits us. i’ve been longing after a crisp white button up that wasn’t plain & luckily i found this one at that thrift store in derry- in the basement of the church- for two dollars. meant to be. also i’m really into wearing my bangs in a twist lately, even though bangs are my absolute favorite, for business meetings it just feels right.

today’s outfit brought to you by purple and gray; cardigan snagged at the clothing swap, a vintage brooch, not wearing shoes cos i couldn’t fit my entire self in the photo (but you can’t even see my shoes in the small photo), and a gray v-neck from our winery tasting in napa (which is clearly a guys shirt if you notice where the word positioning falls on me..)
Off to dads side of the family christmas. They love brunch for every occassion, with quiche, flan, bloody marys, one of our cousins is vegan so there’ll be plenty of food for maur & i. Unlike my mums side who cant grasp that we don’t eat meat, ” how do you get your protein?” Also dads side is tiny, about 16 people, with a few more over in PA, where as Mums side has almost 100 and growing, no lie. It’s so early this year cos everyone is going away for a tropical christmas, no thanks- I need chilly weather & snow, if it happens. Anyway, it’s being held at my cousins, in one of those giant old houses in Newburyport, so I am excited!
