It’s like we’ve been dating for six and a half years & we just happened to have a giant party along the way where I wore a white dress & came out of it with a changed name. We were like, hey let’s do this. Even though I felt guilty getting married to my best friend when so many same sex couples are denied that right. Heartbreaking. On the other hand it’s not for everyone, we know that, my sister doesn’t believe in marriage, but it was just something we felt true to ourselves about doing.
