at the rents house today. this morning we got a dusting of snow, but a lot of ice! (as you can tell by their pond, which i can’t wait to skate on!) so much that all the major highways around the area were shut down due to quite a few accidents. no one expected it, the weather forecast just said “cold” -luckily all my loved ones are safe and sound. &  i’m wearing my mums sweater she had in the 80’s. complete with chickies, bunnies, piggies and lamb(ies). i love it. & i love being home for the holidays: constantly switching between hot cocoa & green tea, listening to bing crosby holiday pandora, wrapping gifts, prepping for hayes’ birthday, putting cloves in oranges, just getting the house ready for christmas.
