It’s my dad’s birthday! It’s a big one too, he and my mum are 30yrs older than i am, so you can do the math. I decorated their mantle with a “hip hip hooray” sign & made him a “happy happy joy joy” stippling print. As kids we would watch Ren & Stimpy, my dad hated the show, thought it was trash that we were watching it, but always said the phrase “happy happy joy joy” & continues to do so to this day. It’s kind of funny. Now we’re taking him out to dinner!
