have you seen the nominations for the oscars? no one cares but me, i know. but man, it was a bad year for movies in 2011 with some of these ridiculous films up for an academy award. (moneyball for best picture, really?) however there were still a few great films & i am rooting for the silent film the artist, which we are going to see right now, so hopefully it won’t disappoint. (i love swimming, pickles, tea, truman burbank, hayes & the oscars.)

  5. hichristina said: haha i asked you this earlier! i think all of the movies that i’ve seen are deserving (haven’t seen el&ic) except maybe ‘the help.’ great historical content, great performances, but it wasn’t ‘art’ imo, just a blockbuster. i enjoyed moneyball!
